Verse 1
I wake up I the morning, and I
hit the nearest coffee shop.
A pitch black drink slays the demon, and
now I feel like a human again.

Got to head down to the station, ‘cause I
got a 9 to 5 that I don’t hate.
I wear my headphones on the train,
and the airwaves penetrate my brain.

Chorus:
I’m flying through the cosmos.
I see a new star born every night.
I’m dancing in the cosmos.
My partner sparkles with starlight.
I’m floating through the cosmos,
sleeping on a blue-green nebula.
I’m dreaming in the cosmos.
And in my dream,
I live on a small blue dot.

Verse 2
So I arrive on SEPTA time.
Passing three pairs of angry eyes.
I shrug it off and then make haste

to my little piece of office space.
Got a boss breathing down my neck.
Papers a mile high sitting at my desk.
Now I stare into the screen,
and so I begin to daydream.
